Book Week 2019

I was the grim reaper/death from a lot of books.
My character is all about killing people an like it said he is in a lot of books.
I found book week the most least favorite week ever.
My favorite book is Dogman.

before: The ball came towards Richie. He jumped into the air. He held out his hands. He was excited. It was up to him.

after: Spinning the hard oval came soaring towards Richie. Jumping through the air he stretched out his arms and captured  the squashed circle. eager he dashed to the goal. It was up to 

him.

Show don't Tell

Tell: Jeff was shocked
Show: Jeff's mouth dropped as his eyes widened his eyebrows went up. he was just shocked


Tell: Bob was exited
Show: Bob jumped around his mouth opened wide eyes closed shut.

Tell: john felt sad
Show: john flopped on the floor tears going down his cheeks he started to squeal.

Tell: Gary was hungry
Show: Gary's tummy rumbled his mouth hung open.

This is my Sir Edmund Hilary timeline. I found this work very hard but I got it done. Here's a tip don't rush.

Sick sentences:

The man walked up the slope. He used poles. The sun was bright. The sky was blue. He looked forward to the view from the top.

New improved sentences:

Dragging his stuff up the snowy 135 degree slope,  poles sliced through the frozen ground. Brightness filled the bright blue sky.  Looking forward to the ice peak the view was marvelous.

mount everest climb

              Sir Edmund Hilary mountain climb

                                    START

Putting my heavy backpack and my oxygen mask on I viewed the enormous mountain before me. It looked like an impossible climb. I could hear my friends cheering me on as the sense of pride filled my body.  
                                 MIDDLE

Snow wrapped around my soft fluffy boots, as I looked at the view. I started to feel a chill come into my tummy. I became very thirsty, I needed a drink! I put my tiny brown tent up as the sweet liquid went down my throat before falling asleep, the smell of fresh air filled my chest. 
      
                                 FINISH
In the morning, I trudged up the mountain then stopped as I realised I was at the very top of the mountain! Pride filled my chest then I just had to do it, "selfie", now the worst bit, the climb down. I couldn't believe my journey was only halfway done but I can't wait to go to my bed.

Film festival

Today we went to Civic Theater for the Film Festival 2019 my favorite film was scissor man. I liked the film because I think its cool that he can make stuff for the walk and he turned a fish into a apple.
